Dr. El-Sayed Kandil, President of Helwan University, received the Mexican Ambassador to Cairo, to discuss the exchange of experiences and ways of cooperation between Helwan University and Mexican universities, especially in the presence of many similarities between the two countries, within the framework of Helwan University’s keenness to enhance cooperation with various institutions.

Dr. El-Sayed Kandil, President of Helwan University, also signed a joint memorandum of understanding with the University of Europe in Germany, in the presence of Professor Maurits van Rooijen, President of the University, on activating joint programs between the two universities, in the fields of business administration, accounting, artificial intelligence, and the arts with a joint degree system.

Dr. El-Sayed Kandil, President of Helwan University, and El-Shahat Ghtouri, Head of the Egyptian Customs Authority, signed a memorandum of joint understanding with the aim of achieving joint cooperation between the two sides.

Dr. Al-Sayed Qandil met with Counselor Abdel-Rahman Fayyad, concerned with the file of mechanization of the legal departments sector in the Ministry of Justice, to review the services that were launched through the Ministry of Justice portal for the legal departments subject to the jurisdiction of the technical inspection of the Ministry of Justice, and to discuss ways of cooperation in preparation for signing a protocol between the Ministry of Justice and Helwan University.

The Faculty of Applied Arts at Helwan University signed a cooperation protocol to market the jewelery works of students and graduates through its platform. The protocol included providing training opportunities for students in the Department of Metal Products and Jewelry, and opportunities to employ graduates.

The college also signed a cooperation protocol with the Arab Foundation for Young Scientists, in light of activating the role of the Development and Research Unit at the College of Applied Arts and partnering with scientific institutions related to industry development.

While the Faculty of Pharmacy at Helwan University signed a cooperation agreement with one of the leading Egyptian companies in the manufacture of cosmetics from aromatic plants and natural sources.

Within the framework of Helwan University’s support, headed by Dr. El-Sayed Qandil, President of the University, for the scientific research sector and creating a stimulating climate for research projects funded by the University’s Scientific Research Fund, the Scientific Research Fund provided funding for seven research projects.
