وزيرا "الزراعة" و"التضامن" يبحثان مد مظلة الحماية الاجتماعية والتأمينية لأصحاب الحيازات الزراعية الصغيرة

Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, and Alaa Farouk, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, held a meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry of Social Solidarity in New Alamein City, in the presence of Major General Gamal Awad, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Social Insurance Authority.

The meeting discussed ways of joint cooperation between the two ministries and the National Social Insurance Authority, within the framework of implementing the President’s directives regarding extending the umbrella of social and insurance protection and providing a decent life for various segments of the Egyptian people.

The meeting witnessed an agreement to unify efforts between all parties to reach and build a specific database, and include small agricultural holdings owners in insurance, social and health protection.

During the meeting, it was agreed on the necessity of preparing a joint workshop that includes a number of mechanisms in order to reach the largest category of property owners and include them under the insurance umbrella, as the coming period will witness an intensification of joint work efforts between the two ministries to raise awareness of the insurance benefits that they will receive if they are included under the insurance umbrella.
